The Mal­te­se-Ger­man Asso­cia­ti­on (MGA) was foun­ded in June 1991 with the aim of streng­thening the fri­end­ly rela­ti­ons bet­ween Mal­ta and Ger­ma­ny and actively pro­mo­ting clo­se coope­ra­ti­on bet­ween both count­ries. The asso­cia­ti­on is based in Ade­nau.

Key are­as of our work:

• to faci­li­ta­te the path for young peo­p­le to come tog­e­ther,

• to expand the cul­tu­ral, social, and socie­tal rela­ti­ons bet­ween both count­ries,

• to sup­port Euro­pean acti­vi­ties in the inte­rest of a demo­cra­tic and free Euro­pe, with a spe­cial focus on Mal­te­se-Ger­man fri­end­ship.

 Examp­les of our acti­vi­ties:

• Pro­mo­ting youth work and exch­an­ge pro­grams, inclu­ding stu­dy trips for Ger­man school clas­ses to Mal­ta,

• Sup­port­ing the estab­lish­ment of city and school part­ner­ships,

• Orga­ni­zing exhi­bi­ti­ons of Mal­te­se artists in Ger­ma­ny.
